The Work At Home Academy was conceived when its founder, Kegan Ball, discovered that there is no real education, comparable to that which you would receive from a University, which would allow you to go out and create your own online business.

He had tried to start several businesses that were not online. But most had limited growth and / or required a large capital investment or some special knowledge or ability to get going and expand.

He did start several offline businesses, and was somewhat successful. However, these businesses just didn’t have the stability he wanted or needed to expand to continue.

So Kegan dug in and started learning what it would take to expand his business activities using the Internet. Unfortunately, what he found was that there was very little reliable education available to teach an entrepreneur how to build or expand a business online.

Eventually against all the misinformation, he was able to successfully expand one of his businesses online. After the first one was successfully operating online, he build more.

It was after several years of struggling to learn how to do it and then successfully expanding and growing businesses that he uncovered the truth about what it takes to create a business online that earns income.

Through the process of developing his online businesses, he also started teaching others what he had learned. This led Kegan to realize that there was a real need for a real education on how to build an online business whether a person is looking to expand their current business or start a new business online.

Kegan looked for college courses that would teach this. But what he found is that most are lacking and / or just too expensive for most people wanting to learn how to build a business online.
